Is extra virgin olive oil healthy? Yes! Let's talk about the benefits of olive oil and what would happen if you consumed extra virgin olive oil every day.
I like to have olive oil on my salads, but there are many different ways you can consume it. You can even just take two tablespoons of straight extra virgin olive oil a day.
Extra virgin olive oil is pure fat, so it won't spike insulin. However, it's crucial to ensure you're getting real extra virgin olive oil and not fake extra virgin olive oil.
Top health benefits of olive oil:
• It has cardioprotective properties and blood pressure-lowering effects
• It has anti-cancer effects
• It has neuroprotective properties
• It's anti-inflammatory
• It can act as an analgesic to help with pain
• It has antimicrobial effects
• It supports healthy blood sugar levels and insulin levels
• It has anti-arthritic effects
• It may help with an enlarged prostate
• It can help balance cholesterol
• It's rich in vitamin E
In this video I'm going to talk about What causes PCOS and how you can reverse it's symptoms
Symptoms of PCOS:
• Infrequent or prolonged menstrual cycle
• Excess male hormones (androgens)
• Infertility
• Excess hair growth on the body
• Thinning hair on the head
• Acne
• Insulin resistance
potential causes of PCOS are genetic or maybe environmental. But, I think the missing piece that you need to know is that high androgens can be caused by high insulin. And high androgens may cause many of the symptoms of PCOS.
Unfortunately, insulin levels are rarely checked. You can’t really determine what’s going on with insulin by checking your blood sugar levels. You could actually have normal blood sugars and still have high levels of insulin.
