this is due to xbox’s console sales being at a loss, they still maintain great flow with the ultimate game pass for consoles and pc . but since they aren’t having direct competition currently. they can get away with this .

You will notice the diffrences when the next cross gen games will be released, i mean the games that will run on ps5 and ps6, that is the time when games will have most usage of current gen consol's hardware
