For everybody commenting on the bowl, it's a ceramic bowl. Ceramic can withhold temperatures of upto 2, 000℃ (approx. 3, 632℉).

Protip: add a bit of cold oil to your chili paste mixture before pouring in the oil. This prevents the chili from burning and adding a bitter taste to the chili oil.
