Показать описание
Taoism is a philosophy attributed to Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu. The basic thing in the whole philosophy is the conception of Tao or "The Way", the natural order of the universe which one must discover to realise the potential for wisdom.

And "Wu wei”, meaning “effortless action" or "action-less action", describing a state of flow that is characterised by great ease and awareness, in which, without even trying, we achieve perfect harmony and perfect knowledge of the current situation.

In all my years, I've never heard teachings and philosophy that spoke to me as much as this very thing. Whether he be real or simply an act of fiction, Lao Tzu was indeed wise.

I look forward to reading his words for myself and implementing his teachings into my life.

What a not coincidence! Yesterday, I had a question to a riddle by none other than Lao Tzu. I decided to skip it for later. Here I am less than 24 hours later and who is the video that I am watching (after finding this site today and watching 4 others of the oldest videos) about? Of course Lao Tzu. Chances are about zero, that I would find the answer to the riddle. Well it turns out the answer is here. That shows that when you need an answer, just relax and it will find you. Really like this site.

Less Is More - This one just might be one of the ideas that most contrasts with our western way of thinking nowadays. The main concern here is always getting "more" - People overworking to get more money than they need, eating more than they need, owning and wanting more objects than they need, making themselves appear as more than what they actually are, speaking too much without having that much to say, and so forth. And apart from these material excesses, our very concept of ambition also seems to conflict with the idea of minimalism that the Tao presents. Ambition is an essential motivator to most people, however, we've been taught for too much time to supplant our lives with outwardly predetermined ambitions that mostly follow the line of consumerist thinking and behavior, where the excess is glorified and we can never be satisfied with what we already have.

I’ve never read anything quite as mesmerizing and enlightening as ZhuangZi. I think it’s the most profound religious text I’ve ever had the pleasure of contemplating.

to 5, there is no need to give up on things, but to learn that matters(nothing, life is a wave) you have to stand over or beside your ego and accept it like your body and other people and the world.

I was able to retire at age 56, and I have enough. I read the Tao at a very leisurely pace, over, and over, for about two years now.

I do like to practice mindfulness, meditating, and breathing exercises. But, I also get a good rush from working hard throughout the day. For some reason, one that I can't explain, I love that "hustle" of working hard throughout the day almost like the rat race. It's a weird combination of the two but that's my life right now. I know I'll probably get burnt out from working hard like this, so I'll try to look back to this video one day and try to achieve happiness from within. Another great video man, I really enjoyed this one!!
