Ubisoft are masters at marketing. They know how to pull on nostalgic elements to draw people in. I'm excited but i personally won't take that too far until i see gameplay

Basims outfit in Valhalla is the best assassin attire I've seen in a while. Simple and effective. Providing adequate protection and doesn't limit movement.

I really like basim's outfit, looks like a mix of ezio and altair. If this truly is a "return to form" then it's a day one buy for me.

I hope this game delivers on the nastolgia and "return to form." If it does I really hope it succeeds so we can see more true AC in the future. Also, I'm absolutely ecstatic that an AC1 remaster is back on the table. Cant wait for sep. 10th

Great video! I was absolutely blown away by how gorgeous the key art was...all the geometric designs on the wall and the gorgeous building and spinaret in the back.
I was surprised by Basim's outfit, it was much brighter than I expected but very welcome. I like how simple it is while still being unique! If you look closely you can see a design on the top of his hood. It kind of looks like a bird head.

Citing from Basim's article on the Assassin's Creed Wiki: "His red sash signified his rank as a master assassin", I would imagine that the blue sash represents a lower rank of the hidden ones. As we can see in Valhalla that Hytham also wears a sash in a slightly different colour than Basim.

as a middle eastern guy, i am very happy that we will visit 800s Bağdat. in those times bağdat was the best city in the world, it was a nest for technology, maths, medicals and scients. And also, arap nights book written in those times, which includes stories like alaaddin, sinbad and alibaba 40 thieves. and i thought that they may present us alaaddin's magical lamp is some sort of an apple of eden and alaaddin sinbad and many more could be ISU :) that makes me very happy. Also, if you wonder what was baghdat like in those times, some youtuber made a great animation video about it. i don't know who he is but if you searh in youtube "The History Of Baghdad: The Medieval World's Greatest City" you can find it. all ac fans will be hype after they discover what was like medieval baghdad.

Surprised you didn't touch on the leaked Ali Baba bonus quest image. That seems to indicate that some level of era appropriate fantasy will play a part in the game, although if they do it sparingly like in Origins I wouldn't mind and might even add flavour to the game. I definitely don't want to smoke hashish with Sufi mystics and be transported to the 'jinn realm'

I do not trust Ubisoft at all, I’m sure the developers deep down would love to reboot AC again and make a true AC game. But Ubisoft is way too greedy for all that

Not really a fan that they are taking the ISU elements out despite this being technically an expansion for AC Valhalla but otherwise this sounds good. Let's hope the community doesn't give them hate like they always do in every AC game.

I do feel nostalgia from seeing this image, but I gonna hold my breath until the game is released, to see if it will be like "Assassin's Creed" again.

I do really hope, that Ubisoft really do take this opportunity, to go back to its "roots."

But knowing them, they most likely will not.

I don't think we won't see mythological elements. We know "what" Basim is and I'd like to know more about how he became the person that decided to search for Eivor.
