I bought that one for 20 bucks because it had the classic gibson headstock break. Glued it for 5 bucks. Not the best guitar but for the money can't beat it lmao.

I bought a Washburn acoustic with case for 100 at gc. Was going to buy an epiphone for 20 more but they employee pointed out the Washburn was basically brand new for being " used" couldn't believe he didn't let me spend another 20... im satisfied with my purchase

Ngl that 149 guitar is insane. I bought it used cause I was so intrigued by a LP with a Strat trem. Was gonna mod it but haven’t done shit to it cause it’s amazing as is

Mitchell guitars are made by guitar center they're like the signature select store brand guitar
Like 9 times out of ten they're terrible but every now and then we unbox one that's great
You just gotta play a bunch of them to find one that isn't garbage

Honestly, for $99, the build quality on it atleast looks solid. Not perfect, but it won’t fall apart in a couple years like some at that price range.

I had a $35 Maestro Gibson branded (but not manufactured) guitar. It sounded amazing and actually way better than my $450+ acoustics. Price doesn’t always define quality. If you’re looking for a guitar on a budget, don’t shop online, go to a couple music stores, especially locally owned, and see what they have. You’d be surprised on what gems you can find.

Ex guitar center employee here, So i have that EXACT! mitchell guitar and it plays amazing, they were throwing it away and it only had a SMALL crack in it. i modded it by changing the nut and lowering the action, polishing and cleaning the frets and fretboard, and i added a piezo pickup and now its one of my favorite guitars and my only acoustic 😂
