There are many many many versions of the story with John Allen Zergus you can go read them on Wikipedia and other websites but the common theme seems to be that "Taured is Tuareg misspelled"
Similarly with Tamanresset which actually exists and is a province of Algeria so it seems that whole story starts with a delusional or schizophrenic man and then became a folk tale/urban legend and kept changing over time till people decided to integrate Parallel universe into it

This would be a good story if everything wasn't already debunked. The whole "unknown country" and disappearing never happened. The guy was deported to Hong Kong, and upon further inspection of his passport, the seals from previous travels were determined to be fake. The rest was just made up over time, by various people.

Here's an idea for a future video. I heard a rumor that in a previous script for The Lost World Jurassic Park the attack on San Diego scene would have ended with the T-Rex attacking the Navy Seal Base on Coronado. I believe it would be interesting to see what would happen if that specific T-Rex tried to attack the actual Navy Seal Base on Coronado. They'd probably only have a problem if they're ordered to take it alive.
