Players often download FPS Packs from any unknown so called FPS guru from Youtube or other sources , but this is the biggest mistake. It is NOT safe at all to download Fortnite FPS Pack without checking what files are inside it.

99.99% of these videos tell you to clear temp data and other cache files. What they don't know is that cache files are for faster application access and have nothing to do with Fortnite. The next ones are the Windows registry editors. Why won't it work? Because it's a local database to store operational info, not some settings that one can tweak. The worst part is they show you to do this or that, but actually all these settings they tell you are defaults. Then there comes the "buy this software" or "download this software, " which is completely BS. Most of these videos are sponsored, and all those 10 tricks are foreplay to sell a product at the 9th trick. What people don't realize is that they need to buy a new computer, not a software fix. I barely see good PCs crashing, lagging, or stuttering in Fortnite. Every single person who looks for such tutorials has a potato PC or outdated hardware. The only fix is to get a new computer. If this was a software/application problem, Epic/Fortnite would have fixed it.
