We are a 20 plus year Toyota family. Just bought a new Suburu. Toyota should fire everyone involved in inventory management. Their prices are just insane.

If you are going to pay 64, pay 69 and get the premium package. 5k is nothing if you can pay 64 to start.

This front end looks much better than the retro round lights to me. The 2.4 turbo is a big no for me though.

$64k give me a break, purchase a low mileage previous generation for a few thousand less, which will last a lot longer.

Comes standard with a two-year wait and a $15k markup!

Saw one yesterday at the bank. Looked sharper in person than I expected.

Where I live in MA, some of the dealerships are tacking on a $10K "screwing over the customer" fee for the mid-level trim. So much for making the Land Cruiser more affordable. 😠

Can't help but wonder why they didn't put an aspirated v6 in the new and Cruiser. Gas mileage would've probably been about the same.

Solid review. The Premium Pkg adds a number of options to consider: Sunroof, full leather, heads-up display, wireless charging, ice box/cool box under center armrest, a couple of safety additions, and a few other options. Well equipped, you will be around the $72k-$76k for the Landcruiser Premium Pkg.

They really should offer this with round headlights. The classic look is great.

The lack of 3 row is because of the hybrid version. With that battery bump, the chairs doesn't fit. In Europe we don't get the hybrid yet, but can choose a third row. The cost cupholder and USB outlet is probably cost saving at the factory.

That 4 cylinder is a deal breaker for me

1958 edition has a read locking differential. It doesn’t have the sway bar disconnect

Great video! I agree 100% with your assessment. I plan on trading in my 2013 4Runner in about a year or so for a new Toyota (looking at the new 4Runner as well). Right now this exact model is at the top of my list. I love it!! Still deciding, but my favorite exterior/interior right now is the white chill pearl with java. I saw one at the dealership recently, it was gorgeous!

Reliability, not looks and accessories, is my #1 concern.

This is the review I needed to hear. I'm going to be trading my 2016 4Runner in on one of these. Call it a retirement gift. Don't really care for sunroof's anyway, so this is the version I want to get. Thank you so much for the review. We'll see how the southern California dealer talks with me. 🙂

agree, that's the version i'd get. Full size infotainment is nice, nicer seats/interior materials. I'm sure the 1st edition gives you more that the exterior add ons, but i can't remember what it is. maybe 2 tone paints? Not for $10K more though. The gray/black I've seen, isn't impressive.

$64K... for a 4 banger Toyota. Good luck I guess.

Curious what does and doesn’t light up at night. In my experience this is where Toyota scrimps…. At night, none of the buttons are illuminated and the cabin looks outdated in comparison to cars with more LED lighting and backlit or lit controls.

Toyota costing more than $60k is crazy
