The only sin that is unforgiven is not accepting Jesus as your lord and savior.

DOESNT matter who gets offended! God loves all of us BUT NOT OUR SINS!

I am a small business owner and my faith is displayed by my actions (I pray) but also in the form of crosses and scriptures hanging in my business. I haired a beautiful young lady who said she bar tends at night but wanted a part time day job working with animals. After about a week she came to me and said she could no longer work for me. Of coarse I asked her why, as I thought things had been going very well. She said because you are a Christian. I said why is that a problem and her response was that she was not a Christian and that she also was not a bar tender, she was a stripper and a bi-sexual person. I said I still don't see a problem, you are doing a fine job for me, and what you do in your off time is your business. She seemed so confused that a Christian was not going to lecture, condemn her or even look down on her. As a matter of fact, she has worked for me now for more than 6 years! We have become very close and although our beliefs, biblical and political are polar opposites, during a discussion I said to her that what makes me most sad is that I will miss her in Heaven. Most would say how can I condemn her to not go to Heaven, because she has denounced God before man. But rather than get upset she cried and told me no one had ever said anything so kind to her, as she continued to explain that Heaven is the ultimate reward for my faith in what I believe and to say I would miss her experiencing that was the deepest form of acceptance from a Christian. She continued by telling me I was the first Christian that she has ever been able to have a relationship with because all the others judge her and she choses to stay away from them. I can only credit the Lord for helping me be an example t help this young woman and for opening her eyes that not all Christians are judgmental. Thank you for this video, as I needed to explain to my daughter how I believe about this topic.

Even though christianity teaches brotherly Love as Jesus did, most christians are often judgmental towards those who don't share the same beliefs or who are simply different; and most christians often don't recognize the hypocritical nature of their judgments.

In this way, Satan has corrupted christianity; and most christians don't seem to recognize this or try to correct this.

Instead, most christians tend to fuel a sense of self-righteousness and superiority within themselves that too often leads to conflict with those who don't agree with them.

That is not what Jesus taught!

Jesus taught: Love your neighbor as yourself.

No exceptions!

Jesus did not say: Love your neighbor only if he or she is like you, or Love your neighbor only if he or she is christian, or Love your neighbor only if he or she is heterosexual.

Jesus taught that our neighbor is not different than us, that everyone is the same in the eyes of God, that everyone is God made flesh and that the same kingdom of heaven is within everyone.

Jesus had no intention of creating a religion, and Jesus was not involved in creating christianity; and yet, a religion was created in Jesus' name.

I just want to clarify this to those for whom Jesus' name and christianity, seem one and the same.

Jesus knew that was bound to happen! Jesus knew that His teachings will be misused and misunderstood.

I just wanna say you did a fantastic job of presenting respectfully. Unfortunately, not too many Christians have the best sense of composure on the subject. I may not fully agree with your interpretation of the bible (I'm still on a personal journey of discovery and biblical understanding myself) but you aproached the topic magnificently and cleary. 😁 great video!

I got so scared that I would go to hell just because I'm a bisexual or act gay just to make people happy for being who I am but I prayed to God "please don't take me to hell for my sexuality I want everyone to have love no matter if it's boy or girl" we need more love in this world not hatred love God and always be yourself for who you are.

So what should a person who is attracted to the same sex do? Forcing oneself to live their whole life with a person of the opposite sex, because it's "God's plan", because it's what He wants "for their own good"?

It's very good that you intend not to hurt anyone, to be loving, not to insult gay people. But if your speech amounts to telling them that they need to undergo conversion therapy to change and marry the opposite sex, then your good intentions are of little use and are only good in appearance. This kind of talk destroys lives. So I hope I'm wrong, and that you don't say that to high school students...

I think some people misinterpreted what he said. He was talking about how homosexuality is not correct, not that it isn't a sin. People just plucked what they liked and took it onto themselves to continue doing this sin.

I agree with this. He properly explained, citing a direct scripture with context and all. But, i bet there's still someone walking away feeling bitter. See, to me this seems clear. But, there's still strife. Tell me why. What are you seeing that I'm not?
If no one speaks out against this, this is the level of depth with which we will be able to talk with others about it. Again, to me, this solid. But, why would someone still continue hate?

And if you care to read more... I find the idea of "homophobia" confusing. Is that to say anyone who doesn't agree with the values of the lgbtq+ community is homophobic? Or just people discriminating and hatefully force feeding their ideas. If it's the second one, ok that makes sense. But, if its the first one, we (the collective we) need to change that because that's just messed up. Right? People are allowed to disagree and voice their rationale, that's just a fact. But, if they're clearly still not grappling with the "love" side of things, then yeah it would be best if they were pulled to the side for someone to converse with them.

If every time someone like that speaks, and they're not coming @ gays, etc., and they're NOT being hateful, why should they be labeled as a homophobe? That's flat out wrong and hypocritical tbf. And even if someone was being hateful it would be the wrong move to shut them out. If you understand the truth, who are you to not offer it to someone who doesn't?

I wish that those who have traditionalist views like this would speak more carefully to accurately argue their perspective. He talks about how the only view of sexuality in the time of Jesus, the Old Testament, and after Christ's resurrection is between one man and one woman. That is not true. It can be between: one man + one wife, or one man + multiple wives, or one man + one wife + one concubine, or one man + one wife + brother's widow, etc. and etc. This is not a convenient thing for him to say because it destroys the entire basis of his argument that God is only ok with sexuality between one man and one woman; some like him say this because that's the Garden of Eden Story, the Apostle Paul uses monogamous marriage as a metaphor for Christ's relationship with the Church, etc. But, that is NOT the only type of sexuality God is OK with as I said above.

People are complex, the bible is complex, and of course God appreciates this. The bible is not a rule book; it tells us who God is, the depth of His infinite love and longing for relationship, and how we can be in relationship with Him and be saved - but it is not a rule book. If we want to know what is good or sin Jesus Christ makes it clear in Matthew 22:34-40.

The fact that this guy is NOT supporting gay behavior but is still being called Satan by those in the chat...? My my.. Hate is a sin. Judging others is a sin. All sin is equal. Let that sink in, certain members of the comments section.

there's so many contradictions in the bible that confuse me so much. if god made male and female why do intersex people exist?? why would he make them if he made everyone in his image and his image was exclusively male and female. also we are all human. humans love. you can't force someone to be straight just as you can't force someone whose straight to be gay. it just doesn't work like that.

Thank you for telling people Christians should be kind to gay people. We should love the sinner and hate the sin that hurts/binds them. We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. None of us is perfect and we all sin in different ways. Working on doing what God wants for us is what is best for us and what makes us Christians. God bless you.

"We have to love our fellows, and because of that love we have to take them to stressful conversion therapies so they can actually fit the rules and standards we insist we don't have. We love gay people, that's why we tell them that the purpose of God for them is that they pursue a life they can't have or a sexless and no-samesexrelationships life so we can feel more clean and less disgusted by them while we have sex every week without actually having kids"

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Homosexuality in ancient Rome often differs markedly from the contemporary West. Latin lacks words that would precisely translate "homosexual" and "heterosexual".[1] The primary dichotomy of ancient Roman sexuality was active/dominant/masculine and passive/submissive/feminine. Roman society was patriarchal, and the freeborn male citizen possessed political liberty (libertas) and the right to rule both himself and his household (familia). "Virtue" (virtus) was seen as an active quality through which a man (vir) defined himself. The conquest mentality and "cult of virility" shaped same-sex relations. Roman men were free to enjoy sex with other males without a perceived loss of masculinity or social status, as long as they took the dominant or penetrative role. Acceptable male partners were slaves and former slaves, prostitutes, and entertainers, whose lifestyle placed them in the nebulous social realm of infamia, excluded from the normal protections accorded to a citizen even if they were technically free. Although Roman men in general seem to have preferred youths between the ages of 12 and 20 as sexual partners, freeborn male minors were off limits at certain periods in Rome, though professional prostitutes and entertainers might remain sexually available well into adulthood.[2]

As kind and compassionately as this is explained there are folks out there who call this hateful.

It sounds like you’re trying to dance around what God says about Homosexuality. He clearly categorizes it as a sin. We just get comfortable. We used to frown on people living together before marriage. That’s sinful too. We Christians have wimped out and want to be a friend of the worlds standards. We are afraid to REALLY LOVE people and tell them to, “Go and sin no more!” STOP THE LIES And TELL THE TRUTH!!!!

1:27 God made male and female. They were both made in God's image.

However, in order to make Eve, God took Adam's rib to fashion Eve. Adam's rib has male DNA. God had to change the male DNA into female DNA. So, Eve was a transgender woman. So, God made a transgender woman.

In Genesis, it says that taking on Adam's characteristics would produce a desirable helper (companion?) for Adam. So, it endorses transgender as a positive in this case. God has to be okay with transgender people, since God created a transgender woman.

2:27 Jesus wasn't asked about homosexuality. It was "understood".
Jesus wasn't asked about homosexuality, so he wasn't answering that question. The "it was understood" is just an assumption, an appeal to wishful thinking.

How can something be "understood" to be not an issue or to be wrong? This is not fill in the blanks. Yes, you can interpret, but you cannot fill in the blanks.
