I did not know that the outer layer of brown rice has lectins. Hmmmm. I wonder if wild rice that comes in various colors, if they also 🤔 have letins on their layers. Food for thought. Thank you so much Dr Gundry, MD.

Everything good in moderation - rice bran oil is good for example - why only have carbohydrates and no minerals when consuming rice. Everyone’s metabolism is different also.

But in the brown hull are vitamines. Beri beri is what you can get if you have a poor diet and don't eat the hulls. And we don't eat enough fiber these days.

When I eat rice, I partially destarch rice, then cool overnight to increase starch resistance. There are fine examples how to achieve this, on YT. Thank you Dr. Gundry for these tidbits for us to 'chews' wisely! :P

What about cooking it with a little avocado oil? Just as good as coconut oil?

Dr. Can we eat basmati Indian white rice, soaked by night, and cocker with coconut oil, and cooked normally without pressure cocked, normally pot cocked? That will be approved to get rid of lectins? Thank you Dr.

cook white rice with Vergin Coconut oil ( or any good fat) will make the rice become resistance starch... lower the glycemic index... that's what I've been told by nutrition doctor here in my country ☺️ 🇲🇾
