Neither will iStop work if the bonnet is open. You can make the iStop permanently defunct by removing the bonnet micro switch by unscrewing just a single screw.

What's the fkn point of disabling the feature. It there for safety and economical reasons.

bollocks - this has near caused several accidents for me. i hate this rubbish, its so dangerous. I'll not buy Mazda again due to this dangerous inclusion.
