WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.

The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

What's odd is that if you found evidence for the "supernatural" then you'd have to redefine that as natural. It would by default be a part of the natural world, even if it's a part we don't yet understand.

The question is, how could we find evidence or measure the supernatural? If we could, by logic and reason, it would be a natural event.

The thing is that if we find evidence of the supernatural, it by definition is part of the natural world which we don't know much about yet. I'm sure when humans discovered magnetism it probably seemed like a supernatural force.

If there was evidence to confirm the supernatural it would be evidence for redefining what is natural.

A good caller and a good response. No unnecessary arguing, aggressiveness or belittling even though I doubt the caller agreed with what was said.

The premise alone is, wrong. If there is evidence for the supernatural, it isn't supernatural, it's natural.
