By this point in time, I didn't think there was anything about TOS I could still learn, and voila! I learn this. I watched STTOS from the beginning, at the tender age of 5 years old (parents were sci-fi fans so we never missed it).

So is the actress who played Number One. Majel Barrett, aka Mrs Roddenberry got to be Nurse Chapel. And then later on she got to be Lwxawa Troy

i really miss TOS. it may be pure nostalgia, but watching it every week was fascinating and they had some top notch story writing from a few well known SciFi and fantasy writers like DC Fontana

Let’s see a video about the immortal Mr. Leslie.

Great video! I did not know this. I am wondering about the obvious other crew member who survived the transition. Yes, Number One Chapel, who realized she would never be captain and after her lover was lost in a space accident, she changed her hair color and transferred to medical and eventually became a doctor. What do you mean that isn't Chapel? Oh, right, it's her twin sister, Number One Majel. Kirk Forever!!!

Always found it fascinating to watch the pilot to see all the things they changed. Thank God.

I've watched Star Trek for decades and just noticed this. Good job 👍

Crashed shuttle craft from the episode "The way to Eden" does not have a roof on it. The scene only lasts for a second so if you blink you might miss it😮

What fun to see this! I've pointed out this overlap on-line myself in various Comments sections.

Majel Barret (Gene Roddenberry's wife!) appeared in many TOS episodes and TNG as well! She was also the voice of the TOS computer!

EXCELLENT I never knew about Geo Tech. "FISHER" however Majel Barette came back but as a different character. I loved Majel Barette. and other actors have come back also as different characters as well.🖖🏻

Jeffrey Hunter was a damn good Captain Pike! It's disappointing that he didn't do more with Star Trek.

Too bad he’s a white dude. That means he probably won’t be on Strange New Worlds.

Impressive. This has never been noted in any of the literature I read about the original series and it's pretty obvious when you point it out! Recurring actors and/or characters have been repeatedly listed through the decades and this is new one: not just a returning actor but playing the same part. Well done!

I bet they’ll pull him out of some nexus in some future episode
