From what I learned, Miyeon is really a charismatic and strong woman. She auditioned for YG without even asking her parents for permission. Then she failed in certain level but she paid a visit to YG and request them to train her saying she has confidence ( she was only in 1st year of middle school at that time).

She left YG when the debut was kept postponed.

That's when she dated a male trainee (After she left she tried to stay in normal life style so she dated).

She went to a vocal academy, learned music producing and composing and continued her career as freelance singer for a year.

She auditioned Cube and was debuted asap with gidle members who was trained together for around 2 years ( It must have been hard for her to adapt new company, new members, new system and environment).

She really has the inspiring mindset and passion of an artist and a singer not only being an idol.

(G)I-DLE couldn't be made without Miyeon, all the members has already said it, that the day Miyeon has joined their group, they already knew that they were finally complete and they were thankful for her. They thought that she was added for visual, until when they saw her audition which gave them another Main Vocal. Currently now in 4th Gen of Kpop, they've been taking the charts with their self-produced songs.

Mi Yeon, did herself a solid. From what I have learned, it was the very repressive rules that she disagreed with, to stay with YG. I do not think her issue was with the other girls, other who was going to be a leader in a leaderless group. She refused to let her job rule her life. She refused not to get writing credit for lyrics she wrote. She refused to let them control her private life. BP has given up more than anyone knows to get where they are. Mi Yeon, would have held them back just as much as YG was holding her back. Sometimes it is not about talent, but personality. BP nor Mi Yeon would be where they are now if she stayed in BP.

Gidle is one of the successful self made group in korea with 2 paks for the song tomboy and nxde, after tomboy and nxde their popularity grew in the international market, i hope they touch the level of success just like blackpink, gidle 4th gen Queens💜💜💜blackpink 3rd gen queens🖤💕💕proud to be a blink and neverland🥰🥰

When i first became a blink i found out miyeon was supposed to debut with bp, i looked her up and was impressed by her vocals and looks my jaw was open majority of the time i was getting to know her i was disappointed cuz she prob left bcz of the really strict rules, not getting credited, can't write ur own music and i WISHED she debuted with bp but i think she fits in (G)-idle more than she would in blackpink i was surprised when lisa mentioned her in one of their live streams i think im on the verge of becoming a neverland now, their music is amazing!!

Miyeon is so talented! But when she left she wasn't the one to loose ANYTHING black pink just lost one of there best members, and mi-yeon just made the group stronger which is why they are so successful. She's really an inspiration for people, like me, with the same dreams. Moral of the story: chase your dreams no matter how big or how small just persevere 🙂❤️
