The display of the iphone 7 is much sharper and accurate than galaxy s7 txs to the way better subpixels matrix, I own both, pentile amoled still lacks in a lot of things.

Apple tends to hide any lag using long and smooth transitions, which run asynchronously to other processes. Obviously this isn't limited to Apple, but I do feel it means we never really get a true feel for the actual speed and smoothness of iPhones.

To be honest the 3.5 mm jack not being included is the worst part
Every port has its own lifetime, a certain number of plug ins. If you're an audiophile and use headphones and charge your phone the lighting port will be toast twice as fast
