"it's the best iPhone ever"

doesn't Apple say that every time a "new" iPhone comes out?

I'm an android user but don't get why apple gets so much hate for it's iPhone. People seem to buy it left right and centre. If it was so bad then y do we see phones like HTC 10 suffering so much. I think most people don't want to change the eco system they've invested their money and time in.
Still if android user can dial down the hate a lil and enjoy the phones they've we might actually see some good customer insights in the comments section.

apple removed the headphone jack so that all audio companies make lightening headphones.. Since lightening is apple's own patent, they will get money for each accesory sold

its about the bling not the thing...

Listening through my 3.5mm headphone jack 👍Juan, I would honestly tell people to just buy a waterproof case and get a 6s and wait for the next year.

Tech channels rarely talk about the environment, but if you're concerned with decreasing your (like I am), then the efficiency and optimisation Apple brings into their eco system is a big plus. The production of Lithium-Ion batteries is unfortunately fairly damaging to the environment. So I give a big thumbs up to Apple for keeping their batteries around 30% smaller than the Android competition (while still achieving comparable battery life). Also, the newest iPhones achieve close to 100% recyclability, which is WAY ahead of most Android devices.

I love this phone. Came from Note 7 and s7 edge.

Its the same size as the S7, it's just apple has awful bezels so they use a smaller screen.

"The last small premium smartphone".

For crying out loud. It's relatively the same size as a Galaxy S7, only with chubbier bezels and smaller display.

Isn't the iPhone SE the best small premium phone??

One thing that isn't well advertised and should be is that instead of reaching up to the top left corner to go back, you can just swipe in from the left side of the screen. it works in all system apps and most 3rd party apps.
Some other cool gestures that aren't well known are:
1) Push anywhere on the left side of the screen to activate multitasking. You can either push and swipe right to go to the last app you were in, push and swipe just to the middle to bring up the multitasking pane or push and push again to also bring up the multitasking pane. The most useful is push and swipe to go to the last app you were in if you're for example texting and surfing the web at the same time.
2) While typing, put your finger on the keyboard and then push and this will turn the keyboard into a trackpad to move the cursor around until you lift your finger.
I don't know why apple don't advertise those gestures because they're really cool and handy. When I sent my 6s away for repairs I had to use an 5s for a week and I definitely missed not having those 2 3D touch gestures.

The Galaxy S7 is as compact as the iphone 6/6s/7 with a bigger screen... No the iphone is not the last small premium phone ... please Juan!

The quad core processor is made up of 2 powerful cores and 2 power efficient cores so only 2 are running at any one time. It's basically the same as the big-little CPUs that have been around for a while so in theory, the CPU should actually consume less power unless you're doing processor intensive tasks that use the powerful cores all the time.

For someone like myself that owned iPhones for 5 years I'm actually embarrassed for Apple. Samsung offers so much more.... I've totally gone off Apple big time.

Goddammit Apple. Why can't you just introduce quick charging, 1080p, and smaller bezels in one single design update? Instead you TAKE AWAY the headphone jack for reasons that I do not think are worth it in the slightest. You've got a battery with less than 2, 000 mAh and yet it takes 30 minutes of charging to get 26% up?? Who the hell is running this company? When you look at the hardware this phone is offering it should be cost at most $300-350. Someone try and convince me otherwise. Don't call me an android fanboy either, I didn't mention a single android phone.

Guys I know this might seem like much to ask for, but please start including 1440p and 4K options for the video quality of your videos. Many tech reviewers are already heralding the push for more high res content, and I personally believe this to be the only way for people to quickly adopt the technology.

Thank you very much for your reviews, love them plenty.

Unofficially, an Apple employee working in the hardware engineering division at Apple was asked why Apple is one of the only manufacturers that have not implemented fast charging yet. Their response was that "fast charging as a technology is still in its maturity phase, and no company has been able to guarantee the lifespan of a battery using this technology for more than 2 years."

While I do think this is mostly an excuse, nobody can really disprove the claim yet. Do batteries that have used fast charging for long enough start to drain quicker over time? Is it more so than batteries that do not support fast charging? I guess it is left to be seen.
