Ok, I paused this video and went and bought a noodle basket. Why did I never think of this until I saw it here?! No draining noodles and nearly burning myself in the process. Genius.

Love Jessie's energy in every video. So chill and calming, but also coming in with the funny quips

I must say, I’ve had a dough whisk for years and use it more than my basic whisk. It’s the same thing but easier. Lol

Chris, that one you couldn’t figure out will make a heart shaped spritz cookie. I wish I still had my grandma’s press. It was just like that one you pulled out of the cabinet.

The Danish Dough Whisk looks like a tool I'd buy, probably good with guacamole and mashed potatoes too.

The cookie press is also a great way to make spätzle and other traditional dumpling style noodles. All without needing to have the grater or special tools

The blade of the bonito shaver can be adjusted using a hammer in order to get thinner / thicker flakes

It would be interesting for someone to use all these tools for one dish and see what comes out of it

Love my cookie press. Favorite is to add a little almond to the dough and a dab of raspberry jam

I literally have that old cookie press kit still! My grandma used to use it to make Christmas cookies every year

so funny how chris uses scare quotes when referring to ‘spritz’ when that’s the real name for it lmao. It’s an abbreviation of Spritzgebäck, the German name for it.
