Yup! Wasn’t able to do a single rep until I did these!

Small correction: 40% stronger on eccentric (lowering) vs concentric (lifting). 20% stronger isometric (holding) vs concentric.
Example: if you can lift 100kg, you can hold 120kg, and you can lower 140kg.
(I’m a CSCS since 2002)

fr when i started working out and used these, i didn’t even realise that i unlocked like few reps of pull ups so fast

I've been stuck for weeks trying to I increase my pull up reps

4 reps: 5-11kg assisted red band
2 reps unassisted

Will doing more negatives help this? (I weigh about 82 kg)

Can attest to this. Got from 2 PUs to 12 in a few months doing 10x10s Eccentrics!

Today I did holds and negatives after doing 4 sets of 10 pull ups, it's the best mind-muscle connection I've felt in a long time
Update: Im absolutely destroyed, the soreness even reached my chest.

Don't do wide grip on those if you can't do one pull up
