I think reality can be broken into three parts, body, mind, and conscious awareness which illuminates the contents of the senses contained within the mind. Mind itself could be considered a sixth sense. I came to these conclusions on my own but these ideas strongly resemble Gnostic and Buddhist beliefs which leads me to believe this understanding is somewhat ubiquitous though illusive. I also think consciousness and mind are fundamental to reality. Consciousness is a manifestation of mind and mind is a manifold, having many spatial dimensions like you said. This strongly resembles the concept of the triad in Neoplatonist philosophy.

While these viewpoints are interesting, and perhaps somewhat merited, how does he stating his "beliefs" have anything to do with research?
In Science we do not state beliefs, instead we form hypotheses, and then we test and challenge these through research, where we are following the scientific method as far as possible.
Of course it would be nice with some interdisciplinary cooperation between the fields of say Quantum Gravity and Para Psychology. But it should be actual research, not mere forming and stating of beliefs. We have had enough of beliefs, both religious beliefs and materialistic beliefs. Let put those aside, and in any case start treating them as temporary working hypotheses until we know from experience.
