Perfect that she should communicate this post in English because most Indians are educated in the use of English. If she had chosen an Indian language, Tamil for example, many would have not have understood. With English, though, more people get the message.

I'm an Asst. Professor and my point is Before Mcculay, Indian Education system majorly teaches about Ramayan, Mahabharat, Ritural, Mantras and Devotional kind of topics. which make no sense expect spreading morals thoughts.
Also education was forbidden to other classes except Bharamins.
There is no point in Ancient Indian Education system which doesnt covers Technology and modern science based subjects.
So my point is Mccalay bought lot of reforms to our education system by including Science and Technology. And He wants eduction should be gained by all caste and religion people

I studied under ICSE board and nothing in our curriculum taught us to look down on India. Yes the Indian education system is flawed and has missed many chances of reformation, but reforming it was entirely in our hands. We can no more blame anyone for anything.
