Einstein couldn't understand Quantum mechanics? #quantumphysics

He did formulate the EPR paradox, which was eventually turned into a testable experiment, which ended up proving QM. In so doing, he proved that he understood how whacky QM is, better than those who invented it. The fact that he couldn't believe nature would be so whacky doesn't detract from that.

Einstein just criticized is as a good scientist does. And quantum mechanics still has many issues.

Einstein was never wrong. He was almost wrong once, but that turned out to be a mistake.

He contributed to QM with the famous EPR paradox. Although QM is quite successful there must be more to the story than particles which are in all possible states until a measurement occurs.

Einstein wanted absoluteness and predictability. He believed nature has to be like that in order to function. Quantum mechanical phenomenon like 'entanglement' was just preposterous to him. So he believed we are missing something important, nature cannot behave like that. But he did* understand all of it. There was no question about that.

He also never failed out of school or even a math class. Also, a lot of people say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. That’s not the actual definition. That was Einsteins definition of insanity.

Totally right, even today we don't have a complete standard model, those quantum boys are playing with a partial rule book.

We should ignore Einstein's intuition at our peril. He was one of the top two scientists who ever lived IMO. It's a shame he doesn't have another lifetime to work on the unified field theory.
