Some people will improve and they will continue to have persistent mild dull aching pain on and off inside the abdomen for a very long time. So this condition is called as chronic recurrent appendicitis. These kind of entities can happen which will cause on and off pain in the abdomen for a long duration of time. So we do recommend that those kind of patients to get treated as early as possible. Otherwise they will continue to have these kind of symptoms on and off for a very long time.
