Fishing With Three Different Minnow Rigs - Realistic Rig and Hi Low

Today I'm fishing with three different minnow rigs on a light spinning rig. All of these are fished on 6 lb test in case I get a decent sized bass. I start out fishing with a Gulp minnow on a Realistic Rig. Then I switch out the gulp for a larger artificial plastic minnow. The last thing I try is a hi-low with two different sized artificial minnows. Despite all of my effort to adapt, I only manage a few nice bluegill today. Don't be afraid to manipulate your rigs and try different configurations, especially if the bite is slow. #realistic #fishing

What an intro...Love IT! The first fish that came off the hook, hit me right in the feels. I was catching trout today and 3 in a row came off the hook. The last one was the biggest fish of the day and he came off right at the shoreline. Seeing you lose one had all that frustration roaring back. The fish gods giveth and taketh away. The high low rig is a good setup, especially when you are trying to figure out the depth of the fish and what they might be looking for profile/ color wise.
