DIY No Filter Mini Pond!!!

In this video I setup the backyard mini pond. This is my second season running this DIY no filter mini pond. It works great, its cheap, and it adds a nice touch to the backyard. I highly recommend a simple setup like this.

I use any size horse trough, duck weed and water hyacinth, add water when needed due to evaporation. I've never used a filter for 50 years!!

Love all of mine. I even keep fish in my pet watering troughs and my dogs love drinking from them. Heaps healthier than a stagnet bucket of water.

Hey, I am planning to set up a small guppy pond with a plastic flower pot. I will get hornwort, amazon frogbit and duckweed in the tank for filtration and also hiding spaces. I will have three guppies. I want to sell some hornwort and frogbit after selling my tank. My intention is to sell some plants and maybe some guppies. I also want to add some snails which will reproduce and also keep the pond clean. Can you please suggest a good snail type that can fulfil that job? I am all the way from Bangladesh, so the temperature is kind of warm. I will keep the pond on my balcony under the shade. Where the temperature is not that hot. I also have an old bathtub. I am not sure what it is made of. But, there are some cracks, so should I just cover them with silicone? Or should I cover the bathtub with something else? If so what should I cover it with. If I am successful with keeping the plants alive, I will do the pond on the bathtub.

Over time wouldn’t it just get dirty asf tho Bc there no moving water to, that’s just gonna be stagnant water in a big bucket basically
