Never, even as a child, have I had a problem with God using evolution to create life on earth.

I never understood how evolution would disprove the existence of God, or anything spiritual in nature...

God's time frame is different to ours. How God created the universe and life is his business and he can have fun doing it how he likes and even experimentally if he likes. It's our privilege to search it out and find evidence of our Creator. In the end he'll have a bit of a laugh at all of us and our theories and he'll play back the video and show us how it was done.

I think god designed the world with room to evole. For better or for worse.

He invented family. We invented all kinds of family constructs (for worse I think)
He invented raw materials. We create awesome technology out of it. (For better, I think)

Why are people listening to a guy with a theology degree talking about complex scientific issues. There’s overwhelming evidence for evolution, and absolutely no evidence it’s guided, he has no idea what he’s talking about.

Actually, macro evolution heavily contradicts the bible. Evolution requires death cause if there was no death, there was no need to "evolve". But since the bible makes very clear that death only came to mankind after sin, we do have a contradiction here that can not be ignored. If you believe in macro evolution as a christian you are automatically saying that we don't die because of sin but because it's "nature". I think that is very close to heretical.

God never needed nor needs evolution to justify his creation, everything was Creator ready with the Power of the word of God.

If Macroevolution is true, the Gospel is destroyed. You can't have death introduced as a consequence of Adam's sin if death was already here prior to Adam even being created. Therefore, Jesus couldn't redeem us from the consequences of sin, as the Last Adam, if those issues came another way.

But evolution includes death as the creature evolves, and God says death is a result of sin. Therefore, you can't be believing the Bible from the start if you are going to say evolution got the world populated with people and animals. God clearly did not use evolution; he repeats often that he made everything after its kind, and death came afterwards. If you don't believe the Bible from the start, when do you start believing it?

As a Catholic I have not had a problem with evolution and natural selection. I have learned to reconcile it with God. I view it as being set up by God all those billions of years ago before creation.

God said, let life evolve and diversify into many forms.

Why does God make humans with free will and lets them chose to reject or accept him even though they cannot see him, or prove that he exists.
The disturbing bit is that God makes humans whom reject and believe, so he knows the final count in heaven and hell. Who would do that.?
