Is it a Panic Attack or Anxiety Attack?

But yeah let me be an adult- occasionally people do go to the bathroom when they feel a panic or anxiety attack coming on.

I really appreciate this because I get so frustrated when friends see me having an anxiety attack and tell me to CALM DOWN. I have told them several times trying to control my anxiety makes it worse. It's best to just let it run and in a few minutes it's over.

Anxiety is hypervigilance when surrounded or near toxic people. It's an adrenaline rush that allows the body to perform on an extreme level. If you feel unsafe just remember that when you feel the rush of adrenaline you can seriously fuck up someone that tries to harm you.

There is third alternative: Overstimulation.
When we end up stuck with forced explanation that it is panic - we will develop fear of panic. While in reality - it may be neurodivergent issue that has nothing to do with anxiety at all.

Have you ever experienced a panic attack yourself? The problem with psychologists is that they speak and instruct about a problem that they have only learned from books. Pilots learn flying from an experienced pilot, not a pure instructor!
