Also when you kick for real follow through and land FAR in front of your shot on your shooting foot. Following through is vital.

Watch this guy’s first shot. He jumps in the air and lands on his shooting foot (shoots with the right, gets up in the air and lands on his right foot). This allows the body’s momentum to go through the ball.

He uses his planting foot to get on his tip toes, this allows him to strike straight as he doesn’t need to approach the ball on an angle. This will reduce the ball curling (which reduces power).

I’m a coach and I taught this to my winger and he doubled the goals he scored that season.

There is something call Momentum and Impulse. If you want to harder ball. kick the ball faster.

(Equation: P = MASS × Velocity).

If speed increases the momentum will increase. Example: Two cars with same mass. The faster car will do more damage.

To improve your shooting do ankle strengthening exercises, learn to lock your ankle and then find a wall that you can practice on, it’s faster as you don’t have to go and collect the ball and you also practice your fist touch

Isolated sitting leg raises w a perpendicular-back-to-floor and one knee bent does the trick too.

Find a concrete wall and do the same with 1 ball. Practice hitting one touch too when ball bounces back to improve control.

Hitting against a wall is probably one if he best ways to improve touch, shots and passes. Just pick your spots on the wall and move with the ball.

Squat at the gym and mix in deadlifts and RDLs. After working out eat more than usual.

American football kickers do this 1 legged drill for power and distance and I myself have done it. It definitely helps A LOT

I think shooting while the ball is moving is more effective... You want to improve the accuracy of your shot too...
