Most everyone has decided that Diane Lane did not sing in this movie. The person that did sing is in the credits at the top of the page. That is my friend Laurie Sargent from N.H. The rest of her band is on stage with Diane Lane credited as Fire Inc. They are actually Face to Face, the new wave band originally from N.H. and not the punk band from Cali. Stu Kimball, John Ryder, Billy Beard and Angelo Petraglia. Angelo you may know from his work with Kings of Leon. Face to Face was a great band that faded too soon. Laurie went on to be in Twinemen and has done a lot of solo work.

One of my favorite films, and the final scene is one of the most incredible and volcanic ever done. Diane Lane is beyond luminous, but so are the other players. Just stunning. Captures the urgency of rock music, the emotions of youth so well. No film ever did that better.

Saw "Streets of Fire" years ago and never forgot this song. So glad to have this video after all these years. Diane Lane is amazingly hot and the song says it all. Thank you, thank you, Andy Cruise. Love this song!

This was one of my top 10 films back then. Now I can't watch or listen because old age has destroyed me and I'm not capable of feeling how I felt back then, sure, there are snippets of something, deep in my soul, but they will die soon and then, well...
