The grim reality is that I ran a movie theatre in the 80's that played this film. I was in this auditorium EVERY chance I got over its short run, because of the music and the feel of this movie. Honestly, here I am 40 years later, and it still drives such a visceral memory of just being able to see something I had "never experienced before". And, I saw a LOT of movies. Walter Hill was brilliant to get Jim Steinman to produce these songs. Top 10.

This movie is perfect. Great story, great set, great music, great cast and great final fighting scene. Tom Cody was our fav gentleman growing up in the 80s
