I'm 65, in the late 60's or early 70's most planes had a pub lounge in the front of the plane where you could hang out even as a kid . . . the bummer, no beer for kids

The limo service has (used to have?) a range limit to be actually "free", around 70 miles (100km) iirc

I fly emirates business class every time I fly back to the USA and have never had any complaints. Best business class of any airline!

Something that very few people know is that you can book the taxi at the destination, too, between hotels and airports. I booked the taxi service 4 times in the Middle East and India. It was flawless, and it was all included in the ticket price.

I recently tried Emirates business class. The complimentary chauffeur was great. Seats are comfortable. Service was lukewarm and unfortunately kind of discriminatory which they only warmed up a lot after I complained discretely. Food was rather poor.

Went with the A-380 Emirates business class this summer AMS-DXB and it's wayyy better than the 777 Emirates business class.

Sometimes you got very cheap long haul business class tickets with limo and lounge access. But it was worth the flight and the bar at night in A380.
