I'm 45 days sober tomorrow and needed to make this change a long time ago!

I know too many people who have destroyed their lives with alcohol. Our culture is very unhealthy about alcohol.

I stopped drinking almost 2 years ago. Best decision I’ve ever made for my body, mind & soul! 😊

10.5 years sober...best thing I ever did, for myself, my family and my healing career. 💗

After over 20 years of heavy, daily drinking, I stopped. I went 138 days without alcohol when I thought “I can have one” then fell almost instantly back into heavy, daily drinking for two months straight. Back on the wagon now.
Lesson learned, one is too many!

My husband and I have been sober for 4 years. Quit drinking when we gave our lives to Christ 💕

Almost 6 years no drinking. It’s liberating. I love it.

I don't like being out of control either.

Going to show this to all the people who've tried to make me drink over the years. I've still never had an alcoholic beverage. Thanks for backing me up, Dr. Amen!!

Alcohol has always made me sick. So glad that it does because I'm not tempted to drink. That's a blessing in disguise.

for you all who are just starting to give up alcohol. I stopped almost 25 years ago. feels like yesterday. best thing I ever did. truly best thing would to be never to have started "socially " I truly truly cannot handle any amount.

I don't miss it in any way. but i can still feel "the call" when stressed don't give in.

I had to change so much. friends, family. but I'm here for me 🙏

This is something everyone needs to hear before middle school, high school, and becoming the legal drinking age. I have ADHD/ADD. I have worked hard enough to get my brain at a better place after diagnosis in my early 20’s. I don’t need to add something that will wreak all that hard work.

I’m almost 5 months sober! I wasn’t an alcoholic but alcohol gave me bad anxiety and now I haven’t had anxiety since😊

For me little wine with dinners’s nice .
Moderation is my mantra (don’t like excess- feeling sick having, regrets, etc. that’s not good at all ).

Flashback to 10 years ago when I couldn’t imagine my life without a glass of wine at dinner every night as well as going out for drinks with friends on the weekends, which almost always included pre-drinking beforehand. Now, I don’t take my health and sobriety for granted. I’ve never felt healthier, happier, and more secure.
