When editing this video, I was worried about my shirt :( I don't "hunt things" besides my next Menstrual Cup :P This shirt is a quote from the tv show, "Super Natural".

Going over some of the different styles of stems on various Menstrual Cups, the seal between the stem and the base of the cup, and how to trim a stem if it's needed.

I purchased ALL of these cups with my own money and am not paid in anyway unless otherwise stated. These are my honest opinions and reviews as I find them on each of these specific Menstrual Cups. I am no way affiliated with any of the Menstrual Cup Companies that I feature.

For the newbie... (me 😂) once the cup is in its natural place... where should the tip of the stem actually sit? Assuming you’ve got the right cup for your cervix position and body. I gather it shouldn’t protrude at all but how far in should you have to reach to pull it out?

I have a question, I bought an evacup and it was working perfectly with me for the first 2 days but the third it just kept poking me and I had to remove it. Should I trim the stem off or I didn't insert it far enough?? Last month I used it on my fourth day as well and it went way up but this month it was more near the vaginal opening. I don't know what I should do. Thank you for your amazing videos by the way!

I just got my first menstrual cup today, after successfully inserting it, the stem feels quite bothering so i cut it almost entirely (like 8:41) and turns out it's even more painful😭 I'm planning to cut it off entirely (like 9:48) but scared in case it will make a hole and doesn't make any difference, do you have any advice? Thank you for the video!!

Is the stem supposed to be visible at all when it’s inside?

I got the diva cup recently and the stem kept poking and kind of going up under the opening of my vagina so I cut about half of it off. I still felt some poking and it pushed more on the sides of the opening when I was sitting, so I practiced taking the cup out without using the stem to make sure I could actually get it out without one😂 So I cut pretty much the whole stem off and i don’t feel anything at all now! It’s very comfortable and I believe I can get it out because the cup never moved (such as closer to my cervix) throughout the day before I trimmed it. I assume I have a medium to low cervix because even when I used tampons, they would be right at the opening of my vagina. (I would also have to use my finger to push the tampon up a bit after inserting Bc it would be too low and stick out)

I saw this video way too late! So When I tried my femmy cycle I had to give birth to my cup and was happy when I was finally able to reach for the hook. And now I’m so afraid using my Lena cup without the stem. 🙄🙄 Sadly I cut my entire stem off because i was afraid of the stem stabbing me when I sit. ( I blame this on some horror stories I’ve seen on yt ).
