Kate’s chemo update is ‘good news but there’s still long way to go’ says William in visit to Wales

Prince William has said that Kate's chemotherapy coming to an end is "good news" but there is still "a long way to go".

Crowds gathered to show support for the Prince of Wales, 42, today as he arrived in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire for his first appearance since it was revealed that his wife had completed chemotherapy.

I've been so happy since hearing the news that Princess Catherine has completed her chemotherapy treatments. I've watched her video a half-dozen times, and I plan to watch it a half-dozen times more. It is better than watching television, and I love the inspirational and hopeful tone it projects with lovely images and beautiful music. I agree with many royal correspondents who have acknowledged that they have never seen anything like it from a member of the royal family before, and that is nice to hear. Princess Catherine is tracking her own path not only in prioritizing her own health and the well-being of herself and her family, but also encouraging others who are waging their own cancer battles. It is a great public service, and it endears her and her family to me even more than before. Prince William was treated to a rockstar-like welcome in Wales, and I loved seeing some people in the crowd pass along personal, hand-written messages for him to deliver to his lovely wife. I hope Princess Catherine can look back on this time not for the scary health challenge it was, but for the way in which it brought her family even closer together. Praying now for news that she is finally in full remission and ready to start a new and successful chapter of her life. 😇🙏
