Not just YouTuber’s!! This was ONE BILLION PERCENT my experience after 3.5 years vegan. Salmon was the only thing I consistently craved while vegan, so that’s what I turned to when I was fed up with feeling awful... Whaddya know? Overnight clearing of all the same symptoms these YouTuber’s complained about. It feels incredibly vindicating that some of the peeps that influenced me to go vegan initially are now having to revert, as I definitely questioned if I had ‘failed’ or ‘done the diet wrong’ for a while after. Then I got over that self doubt because feeling awesome is AWESOME. And I’m thrilled for these lovely, compassionate individuals that they’ll be feeling awesome too! Now my only problem is frothing big juicy, but mighty expensive, steaks all day long!

Salmon was my first animal product after 3 years of veganism!!!! I could not BELIEVE how amazing I felt the next morning! Since then, I eat it once a week and just stare at it in amazement lol. Now my relationship with animals is completely different - ultimate gratitude. Now I really understand why we say grace before we eat.

I went back and forth being vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and it took a minute but I finally found what works for me and that’s being a dairy free pescatarian

I was a vegan for 3 years doing everything exactly as I should - accounting carefully for all vitamins, omegas, protein, creatine etc etc. But was having SEVERELY foggy brain and memory issues as well as very very bad acne covering my entire face. Now I’ve been vegan except salmon for 3 months and my grades are back up, I’m far less fatigued and (best of all ?) my acne has completely gone - first time I’ve had a completely clear face in years!! No regrets!

I agree! I was vegetarian for 11 years. I started eating seafood again and let me tell you, I feel so much better mentally and physically. I have no anxiety, Obsessive negative thoughts, and I can think much better. My body has changed dramatically and have increased muscle mass. I look more developed. So thankful I switched.

Little over 5 years vegan and just started to incorporate seafood and fish into my diet. I feel better in that I have a much more diversified palate in my diet. I had wild caught salmon for dinner the other day and was blown away. I still don't consume dairy and eggs are still weird to me but eating fish again is a start.

Ten years of veganism... Went back to fish today, officially (had salmon cravings too, perhaps once every 15 days, before).
So my future will be pescetarian (without dairy and eggs).
I am sure that i will regain mental health... i.e general happiness again.

I have so much respect for these ex-vegans. It seems like it is very hard for a lot of people to get out of this mindset once they're in it because of harassment, guilt, fear etc. It's just amazing to see these people say "Screw all that, I'm taking care of myself first and anyone who doesn't like it can stay mad." Lol.

I quit veganism this week and started with just adding eggs back into my diet, I had salmon for dinner yesterday and I woke up this morning and my skin is better than it's been in weeks. I don't know if it's just a coincidence but it's pretty cool.

I'm an omnivore, but after realizing that I haven't been consuming adequate amount of omega-3 for the last five years, I recently began consuming more omega-3 rich foods like freshly ground chia seeds and salmon. And let me tell you, this has made a tremendous difference for me in such short period of time. I no longer experience the brain-fog, lack of drive, depressed moods, and dry skin. I thought I had a lot of my corners covered.. eating varied in general (but very low in omega-3), taking a multivitamin and minerals daily, getting plenty of sunlight exposure on skin, exercising regularly, and etc while experiencing minimal improvement. Unfortunately I don't do very well with supplement forms of omega-3, but I have happily decided to make salmon and chia seeds one of the staples in my diet. Thanks for this video! Very interesting stuff.

I’m a vegan of only 6 months and I also do weight lifting. I was looking back at my prevegan self and noticed I have definitely skimmed down but have lost some muscle mass. I’ve also noticed the brain fog, hair loss, and over all lack of strength. I’m so effing tired. I may try adding fish back into my diet.

In doing so, oysters help keep the water clean and clear for underwater grasses and other aquatic life. So eating oysters is a environmentally friendly thing to do .

I started eating salmon weekly, and I have ADHD and I can absolutely feel a difference. It's almost as if I was a sleep all my life. Never going back!

Pescatarian diet is the way to go! Honestly it is the most healthiest diet around.

I tries a vegan diet about 40 years ago (we called it vegetarian back then) and within a few months I became so ill and lethargic. I even had nightmares. Once going back to fish and meat (salmon being one of my favourites), it took about 2 weeks for things to return to normal. Won't repeat that experiment!

This ia great advice Kait! I experimented with lots of different diets including totally plant based. I found I felt the best on diets higher in fats. Higher in beef, salmon and olive oil. . I actually consume a lot of Bison. Bison has a great amino acid profile, and is high in omega 3s .I threw the discus in college, and have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 20 years, and have been working out since i was 13. For my performance and overall well being, this is the diet that I feel the best on. You rock! Your boyfriend is a lucky guy!

I got really sick being vegan as well. This doesn’t happen to everyone because every body is different and the way people’s body’s process foods is different. I now eat a high animal product diet - which I didn’t see coming at all as I was vegan for 7 years. I highly recommend a high fat high/medium protein (animal protein) diet for anyone finding it hard to recover while on a vegan diet. Even if you cycle on and off and you don’t eat one diet style all the time. A diet is not a personality so no one should define themselves by what they eat, you should always put your health first. Always.

Actually you can get DHA and EPA from algae oil... I'm curious to know if those omega3 are as bioavailable as those found in fish and shellfish
