HOW TO PREVENT AND GET RID OF BED BUGS FAST | DIY PEST CONTROL

In this video I'm going to show you guys the best way to get rid of bed bugs, the stuff from home depot doesn't work. In this video we are using a concentrate called MGK Crossfire, its what many pros use and is very efficient at killing a variety of different bugs but specifically bed bugs.

As an Airbnb host you deal with so many different people you never know who what people bring with them so if you are fortunate and have never had bed bugs you can still use this method to help prevent them. Hiring pest control can be expensive so if you are looking for a DIY approach to getting rid of bed bugs then I made this video for you.

I wanted to give an update to my original spray date like three weeks ago. The product works phenomenally. After the first spray, i found one on its back in my bathtub dying (i live in a studio apartment and they were coming from the vents). I sprayed all the cracks in my place and my mattress. You gotta hit all the spots as they are small and flat, i found a couple more dead ones around the floorboards. Best part is crossfire keeps working after you spray. No more bites since my first spray (i sprayed again 2 weeks later just in case i missed any eggs and they hatched). It sounds like i had a bad infestation but i caught it early believe it or not. Thanks for posting this video, because i feel like when you have a bed bug problem, you need good advice to take them out quick before it gets outa control. And this helped out a lot. Pest control operator here. Two things:
1) this will make (1) finished gallon of spray. So, since the bottle is 13 fl oz and a gallon is 128 fl oz, mix the 13 oz bottle with exactly 115 fl oz of water in a spray tank. You never want to under dilute or over dilute this product because of the science behind it.

2) Lukewarm water is best to mix this product with. The way it is formulated, it will mix better if the water is not hot or cold. Actually, hot water would be the worst thing to mix it with as it will change the chemical composition of the concentrate.

you should be wearing long sleeve shirt and good rubber gloves when dealing with chemicals. I would add goggles too because it's too easy to sneeze and accidently get it on your face or in eyes...but that's just me.

Ortho home defense bed bug killer looks good so far its been about 5 weeks since i found out i had bed bugs i think i went a little crazy with it but seems to had worked so far havent seen one in almost 3 weeks but still keeping stuff airtight and in bags

Ive read some reviews that bedbugs are now becomming residtant to crossfire and are bot dying. I hope thats not the case and those people just didnt mix it correctly. Because this is the only spray that i know will kill bedbugs in all stages as well as residual kill

I wish I knew about this.. we went on vacation and got them at the hotel. Brought them back from VA TO OK. Spent around 5 grand on heat treatments and spray. The pesticide they sprayed killed my dog and her 5 day old puppies.. we were told it was safe around animals, kids/ people with health issues as long as we were gone until it dried.. I need an organ transplant . I can’t be around alot of chemicals or people. We went and got another hotel room so the spray had time to work and dry up. Even after 24 hrs . We still had them in our furniture… we threw out every couch, chair, bed, basically everything we owned to finally get rid of them. We have 5 kids and two grandkids.. we LOST ALOT. I am so paranoid about getting them again. I give my self panic and anxiety attacks. Easiest way to explain it is….I look like a damn crack head looking for dropped druqs with a flashlight in a dark house looking to see if I see any.🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ . Is this product safe with my situation? Sorry for the long ramble. It’s another zzz less night in pain..

It's supposed to be 1 Gallon of mixed liquid TOTAL. Not 1 Gallon of water and 13 oz of Crossfire!

Therefore, it is essential to follow all safety guidelines and allow treated surfaces, such as mattresses, to dry completely before use to minimize potential skin contact.

What if you don’t need to use a whole gallon? Can you half the 13oz into 6.5 and use half a gallon and save the rest for another treatment ?

1 thing, you actually diluted it a little bit. The final mix should be exactly 1 gallon.

you want to fill up sprayer half way up water pour the chemical in and fill up the rest and shake well...that way he chemical is suspended in the middle making a better mix..
