My PERSONAL 108TB GOOGLE DRIVE SERVER 🤯💾

As a creative, I go through so much storage. Whether I’m storing photos from a shoot, backing up my computer, or storing files from these YouTube videos; I easily use 100gb of storage a week. I hate having 10 different hard drives with some projects stored on one and other projecfs stored on an other. I want one hard drive that has everything one it, and I want to be able to access these files from anywhere in the world.

After looking into cloud storage options like Google Drive, BackBlaze, and Dropbox; I found that alot of these options are pretty expensive. So the Synology DS920+ NAS (Network Attached Storage) is by far the best option. Yes it’s a huge upfront cost but worth it in the long run.

Yeah in raid 0. Wait till one of the drives fails. Or get a proper 8 bay and run at least raid 1, better yet raid 6

Hear me out I have a terminally ill 9 year old son and I have a lot of photos and videos that I never want to lose is this a good solution for permanent storage and is it going to cost me a fortune because medical bills are killing me already

You could link them all from anywhere. I thought about doing that but having my data in one place is crazy talk. I have about 49 drives and like 12 phones linked to one network. They act as one too. All over the country at family.

For Google Drive is purposeless all it is just a back up. You could do that exact same thing by just spending a bunch of money on Google Drive which you already do to have 108 TB on Google Drive basically what I’m trying to say is all that big boxes it’s just back up.

108TB in 4 Bays???! What? The largest HDD that is commercially available is 24TB. So the Maximum storage capacity you can fit in a 4-bay NAS is 96TB.
