Thanks for sharing this review. I have a patio I would like to cool down. I do have access to a water faucet nearby, so a misting system could be an option. But, I also like a fan for the movement of air. The solution occurred to me to install ceiling fans in the patio, in conjunction with the misting system. I think that by moving air through the patio with the fan I won't experience too much "rainout" from the misters.

You can set a timer on a mist system. 5 min on and 20 min off etc. Don’t reduce pressure BUT reduce flow buy using a regulator or a lower flow pump.

yes, you can adjust the mist system by reducing the amount of mister sprayer in play. instead of every 12-15" apart try to remove every other mister sprayer by using a mister plug plus it will increase the PSI on the mister which in turn causes the mister to be finer. Mister requires a slight high pressure to function better.

Also you forgot that the fan needs to be refilled, and the water will warm up while in that black painted tank, whereas the mist system is bringing fresh water from the main, which is generally cooler than ambient, and considering the price of the mist system is much much lower, you can buy multiple kits for different areas and cheap WiFi valves to control each one remotely.

Have you tried to just purchase a regular fan and just set it close to wear your sitting under the patio with misters on? Maybe that could be your solution. The fan will blow the mist away and move through the air better like the fan mjster..?

Or I just gave you an idea of your 2nd video..?🤔😆👍🏼

I think you did a very accurate review. For people just like me, who are currently debating which misting system to get, well just like you said... it depends on what your needs are and how much you want to spend. I think I need both systems... the patio system for my plants that hang on the eve (and suns edge) and the fan for out by the garden pond... awesome review dude, good enough for me to subscribe to your feed... sunglasses are okay I guess... As it is going to be 36 degrees here a couple of days this week this seems an appropriate time to look into misting fans. That's 96.8 for Americans. Other parts of the Country are expected to be 114.8 tomorrow or 46c :(

You dont have a mist system on your porch - You have misters hooked up to a hose bib.... A true mist system has a high pressure power unit, filter and quality piping and mister heads. They run about $2500.00 but they break the mist up into "true mist", not the small "mist like" water dropplets you are experiencing. So a true mist system evaporates into the surrounding hot dry air within a couple feet of the mister which cools the air rapidly, this cools the porch rapidly and you dont get rained on....

Look, dude. If you want to benefit from the mist system. First, buy a covering on your pergola completely on the place you ser on. Second, cover the sides above, with covering material for walls. Just find a way to install them in the sides of the pergola at least two meters length.. So it keeps the misting nuzzles in, the cover inside the place. In
