Your cat can swallow it, and the end result can be really bad. Same goes for giving your feline friend milk, too many cuddles, and lots more common mistakes pet owners have no idea they're making! 😱

Something I see quite often online is people intentionally jump scarring their cats. Unless you and your cat have had that type of play, back and forth, between each other, do not just randomly start jump scarring your cat. If you all of a sudden start jump scarring your cat, especially just for those views, you are causing undue stress. That will lead to distrust. And most likely behavioral issues. While the human laughs and thinks it's funny, the cat just doesn't understand why their person would make them feel unsafe and vulnerable.
Edit: I have always raised my cats with free feeding and have never had an issue with any of them becoming overweight.

My family had a cat that scratched on furniture, and on the back door. My mom put at least 5 scratching posts in the house. That cat barely would use them. She preferred the furniture.

I must be doing something right because all my cats have lived past 20 years old and the one next to my comment was 21 years

I let my old cat free feed, she lived a long healthy life and we would re fill her bowl 2 times a day. If she eats the first thing, and if she didn’t eat it we’d re fill it once. So she could eat when ever she wanted but she got in to a routine. Eat in the morning, eat at the afternoon and then if there’s left overs from dinner on Monday, (we have roast dinner on Sunday) we will mix that in with her food. We also would mix in left over salmon, and any meat really. Only small amounts because it is unhealthy to feed them table scraps too often

This video is cool! The only thing that caught my attention was 4:10 Not only do they not like complete darkness, cats actually can’t see in it like us. But they can see if there is even a little bit of light because of the Tapetum Lucidum which is basically a mirror in the back of a cats eyes which reflects light so their retinas process it twice and that is why cats eyes glow, that’s called ‘eyeshine’

I have two cats ( Whiskers and Zoe) Zoe’s fifteen in human years and Whiskers is six months old. Zoe’s a gray and white cat and whiskers is tan and white ( for some reason Zoe eats whiskerses wet food :/ )
