The older I get, the more I appreciate George Michael’s talent. Man, he could sing.

Elton preparing to sing and then realizing George was there, is everything to me.

Goodness. I still think George Michael has one of the best, clearest vocals ever. So Good.

I miss you George Michael! Thank you Elton John for dedicating this song to him at Glastonbury 2023 on what would have been his 60th Birthday!

A once in a generation talent, he could write songs, produce them, sing them like no other and he was one hell of a good looking bastard.. Rip George Michael, the world misses you.

Andrew is honestly so happy to see his best friend succeed and come to this moment. No jealousy, just pure joy for his best friend. THAT, people, is what true friendship is.

I turned 18 in June ‘85 and can’t believe the privileged of attending LiveAid in the July. Didn’t realise how significant this concert would turn out to be. Now I’m 56 (2024) and keep coming back to these YT clips. Get choked up trying to sing along with George. There’s been nothing like it or George since!

One of the best live performances of all time. I love how Elton John struggles not to sing the lead.

I'm sorry anyone who gave this a thumbs-down does not understand anything about being a vocalist and certainly can't appreciate what this man was able to do with his voice. In addition, George had such charisma that he made stage presence look effortless. His musical talent was in a class all of its own.

It's like Elton wrote this specifically for George to sing. Classic. Live Aid 1985 had some dynamic performances. I'm glad
I'm part of that generation. *Edit* Back for another of many listens to this. This song, and George's interpretation of it
will always ride high. Arguably Elton's and Bernie's finest composition.

Hard to believe that George was unhappy with this performance... what a perfectionist he was. I think most of his fans think it was one of his best! I'm still listening 35 years later and not just because it's the anniversary. I just love to hear it and watch the master at work! RIP our dear George ❤.
