I used to work at Heathrow & watched once as Diana stepped off a British Airways Concorde flight from NY. The Rolling Stones "Angie" just happened to be playing very low over the airport PA in the section I was in & I thought -"You know what? We've got a few things to be proud of as a nation!"

I am not from England and I never met Princess Diana, but I truly feel that we were very fortunate to live amongst her grace. It’s not very common a person’s born with the grace and humanity that this woman had God bless you, Diana we love you from America.

If you look at pics of Diana through the years, you can see her confidence in herself grow. Shortly after her marriage to Charles, she often held her head down. After the birth of her children, she looked people in the eyes & smiled. After her divorce, she smiled even more & the twinkle in her eyes shown for the entire world to see. The world lost so much when she died & watching videos of her still brings me to tears.

I read that Elton has said that he will never sing this song live again unless specifically requested to do so by Diana's family. As such, her funeral is the only place he's ever sung this live.

This is January 2024 and this immortal song, modified to match the momentous occasion, by legendary Elton John leaves everyone with tears in eyes even today after so many years of the tragedy. His singing is singularly sad, sentimental, soulful, spellbinding, superb, sincere and sweet. 😢😢❤❤

I was in New York when I heard that this great lady had died, I then carried on to San Francisco and attended the march of respect to this wonderful lady! She will always be remembered for all of the great deeds she made as part of her life and will never be forgotten may she rest in peace!
