I’m here for my dad. He died of a heart attack back in January of this year. He was only 63 years old. He was a HUGE Elton John fan. I visited him multiple times a day when he was in a coma state at the hospital. During that time, and even now, I listened to several Elton John songs on repeat. I even played his songs for my dad, including this one, while he was in a coma and even on my Dad’s last day when the doctors took him off life support.

I still listen to Elton John in memory of my dad. It’s my way of being close to him.

I love you, Dad. Rest In Peace (1958 - 2022).

4:43 - This version really the best because of the full orchestra and choral accompaniment. Which of course the song is incredibly worthy of. No other versions can match from this point on. Listen to the timpani drum on that final held chord! That's like the triumphant finale of a symphony! Goosebumps.
