So PS5 have plus 60 million in sells but their software sells do not reflect that. DLC are up but that could be skins from free to play. You cannot have 2 times as many units out there but less MAU than 3rd place

I realize this may come as news to you North Americans but inflation is really high here in Europe, consoles aren't selling, for any brand. I have a friend who works for one of the big nationwide retailers in Finland and he was saying how despite the PS5 Slim being on sale, they're not selling. Said they're hearing the same from other Nordic countries too. Consoles aren't selling right now due to inflation raising prices for the things people actually need.

Sonys numbers are fluffed up. It's console shipped not sold. Not saying they aren't out selling Microsoft. Just saying actual sells is going to be lower then shipped.

As far as this stupid notion that Microsoft will abandoned consoles. 30 million is still profitable. On top of those 30million is subscription to gamepass. You drop the hardware you drop the subs. So it's not going to happen.

I still think the switch 2 could sell like crazy. I think the appetite for it is still really strong. So long as they get the price, and line up right.

But if its a big of a power leap as it sounds with it still being a hybrid portable console. I think it could match the sales rate of the switch
