After God of War Ragnarok my playstation has been gathering dust. Sony just doesn't compete with gamepass.

I have both but I prefer the Xbox Series X for the following reasons:

* Quick resume

* Console more lighter & portable

* Game Pass

* Graphics are a tad better

Game Pass + PC is just pure Gold. You pay Ultimate and have games on both consoles PC and Xbox. Xbox all day long

"you own nothing and will be happy". Not loving the way xbox is going with their subscription model. Will always stick loyal to physical copies. Best console to play in 2024 is still the xbox 360!

Im going with ps5. I enjoy playing single-player games like FF16, God of War. The list goes on. I know every year I'm getting high-quality games consistently

Xbox with GamePass is my go-to. There aren't enough PS5 exclusives I'm interested in to justify its cost.

Its not over for either of them, they’re just shifting to shared games across all platforms, that’s where we’re headed, exclusives will be few and far between in the next 5 years…good video

For your information, my Xbox s X has complete a full year without unplugging it and is still working smoothly.

I like both consoles. They’re both great next-gen consoles. My only problem with Xbox is that it doesn’t really feel like a new console. The whole UI is exactly the same as the previous console.

PS5 feels nothing like a PS4. The controller is amazingly comfortable, and the console’s UI is really nice.

That being said, if you want a next-gen console, go with whatever you want. Both are amazing.

I've always had an Xbox since the first one that came out, and I've just stuck with it, for me, it's just a gaming system that plays games. I'm sure if my first console was a PlayStation, I'd probably stuck with PlayStation. Gaming for me is just gaming, something to do for fun, even if it's just pulling out a deck of UNO cards or a game of Monopoly the analog versions😁.

Quick resume, Smart delivery, game pass, just a few reasons why I love my series X

Xbox or PlayStation really comes down to personal preference and I feel like Xbox/microsoft is more consumer friendly then PlayStation/sony

PS5: Fake HDMI 2.1
PS5: Fake and Weak VRR
PS5: No Dolby Vision for Any kind of content
PS5: Dolby Atmos late implementation
PS5: Poor experience Overall

Xbox: Delivers a PC like experience which makes It feels better with a faster response time.

The only Xbox flaw is the lack of exclusives. In the end, ANY game both consoles shares, are better experienced on Xbox, but this is something Sony bitches forget about.

When a High setup is available for both (OLED TVs with Freesync/Gsync, HDMI 2.1 etc) Xbox will be on top, simple as that.

PlayStation 5 was killing Xbox even before it was slim my guy.😂 it's not the new design that caused PlayStation to out sell Xbox🤷 ps5 has always had the better games. It has the dual sense and feels more like a newer gen console from the ps4 pro than the series X does from the one x.

After having the Xbox series x since it dropped and the ps5 for 2 years. I can say that so far ps5 has been killing it. It’s true that this year we’re lacking new ps5 games, but I’m still completing some games so no rush :). I was hoping that Xbox would bring a good competition after the Bethesda and ABK acquisitions but the recent news just killed my hope for this console. I just don’t understand what’s the point of having an Xbox if they’re releasing their games on other platforms (PlayStation included) and shutting down studios at the same time 🤦‍♂️.

PlayStation has remote play for your laptop and phone? I don't understand the argument that you can't do that

The problem with what you’re saying is that i leave out a very important factor. You’re looking at global sales. Not sales in the US. Microsoft doesn’t readily share this data but we can make some inferences. Not exact but it’s close.

PS5 is beating Xbox by 5 million in Japan. Total sales for PlayStation are just over 5.5 million there. Meaning Xbox has just barely sold half a million consoles.

It’s the same in other parts of the world as well. Sony is eating their lunch everywhere in the world. The US though is a different story. All of these staggering differences lead me to guess that in the US they aren’t that far apart.

Which tells me it’s not the console. It’s the marketing that’s killing them. Or potentially the market. Some markets have a different mindset.

i like the xbox series x but to me the ps5 looks so amazing compared to the xbox, xbox just a plain black box no lights or c-port and nothing shiney plates, they need a new design bad. but i have pc for xbox games now and bought a ps5 slim, ps5 looks great.
