Roomba will push the home base endlessly around until it is docked. This is done by driving partially onto the home base and deciding that it needs to turn a little bit to the left or right. By doing so it moves the home base, that has no grip on the floor whatsoever, to the left or right making it impossible to dock again. At this point it will try a bit harder resulting in endless docking retry's.

Make sure you buy some double sided tape to attach the home base to the wall/floor. This is ~4 years of experience talking (Roomba 780, auto clean 6 days a week)

What do I have to do to change location of the home base? Do I need reset something on roomba? Or it is enough to just move home base?

Hi iRobot I have a question! Soon I am getting an roomba and I will charge it whit the charging base but if I look roomba in a room when it will finish will it stop like normal or it will try go to the base even if the door is closed?

Sorry this didn't give me anything new to learn. Need to know how to reset the home base dock after moving it from one area of the home to another? My Hazel is lost when she comes out of her house. Map is still showing she's living in the other space. She wonders around like a drunken sailor to find the area she needs to be cleaning?

My roomba always pushed off the home base when docking....the home base needs some more weight on it rather just a cheap one pc plastic...
