NASA | Carbon in the Ocean

Jeremy Werdell is studying how microscopic plankton in the oceans are responding to our changing climate. As a scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, he knows that Earth's oceans and land cover have been doing us a favor. As people burn fossil fuels and clear forests, only half of the carbon dioxide released stays in the atmosphere, warming and altering Earth’s climate. The other half is removed from the air by the planet’s vegetation ecosystems and oceans. But Jeremy and other scientists are still trying to answer important questions about how carbon dioxide emissions get absorbed by the land and the ocean — and how this could change in the future.

I would like to hear NASA's position on how the 200, 000, 00 plus barrels of toxic waste laying on the ocean floor is affecting marine life and the ocean ? dropped there in the 60's and 70's with a barrel life span of 50 years .
Not to mention all the fallout from the nuclear plants and bombs .
If we truly had a problem with Carbon each nation could redesign their vehicles away from fossil fuels and maybe we could stop having wars for nothing more then rich men's greed and pipelines through Syria .
But no I still see 98% percent of cars still going to gas stations and paying carbon tax well you run your mouth about carbon for the 10 years .
Don't get me wrong I love learning about space and am thankful for the time it takes to put all the information together but you gotta cut the BS .
