It doesn't matter whether he can bloodbend or whether Azula can bloodbend, if they can bloodbend Aang and he enters the Avatar State especially when he couldn't control it, Aang will destroy both. You can imagine what older Aang did to Tanrok and Unalok's father when he can control the avatar state, what's happens when he couldn't?
