You can do this right in front of the gate. And you can drop like 20 east empire pendents, dupe all twenty at once no more or it will lag out. But when you get 4000 you can sell them to the guy in solsteim. And get like 2 million. But no more or you will go in the negative

To anyone watching this: you do NOT have to do this exploit only in Whiterun. This can be done in Solitude, I have tested it and it WORKS and the ground there right where you spawn in the city by the big double doors is flat and when you drop things they don't roll away like in Whiterun that has the big hump at the doors or the two areas on either side of the doors that have a slight slope to the ground. So, do the dupe exploit in Solitude, much easier

You don’t have to pick the items up off the floor instead get the companion to pick it up then go back out the gate and back in and just grab the ones from the companion and drop them singles and it will keep working just get the companion to pick up when you come back in from the gate and leave again

I did the same thing at Goldenhill plantation. I dropped stuff in front of the house, had the companion pick it up, went inside then came back out and it was there again. I did it accidentally trying to get my companion to learn new spells by dropping spell books. I wasn’t able to get that to work, but I did get the duplication.

The follower can follow up and there still will be the loot u leave there as long as you make the follower pick the item up

I only found out about this trick about 5 years ago when I found ymfah, since then I have to stop myself from doing this + the restoration loop every new play through

This works with apparel on the mannequins in your houses. I learned that by putting the masks on them.
Place the apparel item on the mannequin. Save the game! Go do a quest. When you get back, take that item. Go do another quest. By the time you get back the item should be there.
Word of warning. If the mannequin doesn't like the item, the item won't be there when you get back. That's why the save.
BTW, I had dragon armor on a mannequin. I took it off and placed the White Armor of Falmer on it. When I returned, the mannequin had fused it with dragon armor. I'm going to do it again to see if it was just a fluke.

I tried this to have two dawnbreaker swords but now for some reason when i try to dual wield it puts only me in slow motion, so now i use a shield and sword instead

for this works for many things. what it doesnt work on is the jagged crown and some weapons. Iam so sad, Id love to dublicate the jagged crown):

So this wont work with stacks of items, just singular objects. So like an ingot will work, but 6x ingots, or more, will not?

You can duplicate any item drop it in the floor of your house like the breeze home walk out the door and go back in after your follower picks it up and then it will have no matter where you duplicate a stolen tag to remove fun times and then you have to put it in a container you do not own and tell your follower to take it out not my favorite thing to do especially when I do not care and I do not like followers

Do I have to have a DLC? I have just vanilla skyrim on PS3 and I can't make it work. I've watched and tried every method and nothing. Can someone please help?
