Game just came out and it's been speedran, glitched tf out, and 100 percented.... what in god's name have we done?

The trick for it work perfect every time is to open the menu while the green fusing animation is still happening. So ideally mid fuse. After that should work every time

Here's some tips to get it to work consistently, get 3 or 4 bows, then make sure you are holding down the button to aim the bow, ready to fire if you let go. Add the item, then immediately go into the menu while the attach animation is playing as fast as possible, keep holding the aim button, too. Drop your equipped bow, equip a new one, then exit and enter the menu quickly, then do that again until you run out of new bows to equip. I have also heard that having a sword and shield on your back helps.

Found the best way to do it...

1. Aim. Never let go the aim button. I mean never.
2. Add the item to the arrow. Keep aiming.
3. Press + for menu. Discard. Equip do this as fast as you can.
4. Press + as fast as you can twice. Reminder you keep aiming never let go the aim. Button.
5. Drop. Equip.
6. Leave the menu. Keep aiming never let go. Pick your bows. Start again. Youll see you duplicated item on the up d pad menu. . Never let go the aim button. Works 95% of the time.

Equipping a third bow before you unpause and pick them both up seems to make this glitch work every time! I couldn't get it to work before I did that.

So I've tried several of the methods to be more consistent as stated in the comments. So far I've found the most consistency comes from a quick initial pause after fusing your item to the arrow. When you pause it it looks like there's a green ring around link just in front of him. As long as I get the next quick unpause pause right it tends to work almost every time. Also look at the animations. If there's a loose spiral in front of you before the sequence is complete you probably got it. If its a tight spiral then you might have to try again. Good luck.

So what’s working for me was i change from zonai shield fused with spike to normal shield (royal shield) and the dupe is working everytime. I changed my shield back to it and not working again. I think your shield size is what matters.

Remapping the menu button to X key (swap them) works like a charm... The issue is that the menu button(+) is a pain to double tap... So remap and voila..

For some reason the best consistency i’ve got is by doing it in kakariko village pressing start right at the first flash of green light from the fuse, and then after i’ve dropped the second bow I do a backflip (shield plus back plus jump) and pick both the bows up as fast as i can while I flip

You need to do this frame perfect which takes the practice. A good tip to increase that window is to press start during the animation of equipping the item you want to duplicate (ie that green ring). I’ve had no issue duplicating 30-40 of an item in five minutes. A lot of practice, but once you get the timing down you’re golden.

Out of all the methods in the comments I figured out that fully putting your bow out with a tap on zr(not aiming just finishing the pull out animation), then selecting the fusing material and opening the inventory before the plus attack damage text shows up(it never worked when the attack up ui was displayed for me, even if it just showed for a milisecond) and then just doing the drop, equip, unpause, pause, drop is working the best for me. I had a shield and sword equiped but it was the same without it for me. PS: I can now dupe stuff quick enough to make the sound go away for like a minute lol

If you are too slow use minus to unpause the game and plus to pause it, so after you drop the first bow and equip the second press minus to go to the other pause menu and then press minus again to unpause the game then press plus to repause the game. this means you dont have to hit the same button quickly twice in a row.

I accidentally updated my game to 1.1.1 but the glitch STILL WORKS, if you still want to stil use the glitch and updated too make sure you disabled auto updates at the bottom of your system settings!

guys i genuinely have the best tip if ur on yuzu, press cmd + u to uncap frames and in the bottom bar turn gpu into medium and docked to handheld. this will speed ur game up making it so u can much easily get the timing. bonus tip: after attaching the item to your bow and before you drop it, input a movement. u can just move forward but this will also increase ur chances.

I’m pretty sure it’s patches now. It won’t let me drop the bow with the duplicated item

Something that always works for me is standing on a slope. I find that if both bows are still moving/sliding before i pick them up, then it’s close to 100% chance of duplicating whatever you fused
