How to Duplicate Items in Tears of the Kingdom 1.2.1 (EASY)

In this video, I'll show you guys how to EASILY duplicate items in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Using this method, you can quickly obtain just a few items, or you can mass duplicate items. I cover both methods in the video.

FYI that you don’t have to jump backwards. You can jump forward as well. The easiest platform I found is the one that is slightly lower to your left when you walk out of the sky view tower. If you wait a fraction of a second after you jump for link to just start falling to initiate the first menu press, it is a bit more consistent.

If you take three long wood boards (found at those material depots around the map) and you fuse them together in a “U” formation, then save it as a favorite, you can build it wherever you go and it’s the perfect height for maximum efficiency and consistency.

I find it’s even more consistent if you look up just slightly when you jump backwards. This gives you more room to “throw” your item so the game doesn’t give you the dialogue that you can’t take the item out.

If you're having trouble, just walk forward off the edge instead of doing the back jump, and do the same process.

This still works as of December 27th, helps to stand just in front of the ledge and jump while walking back. If you don’t see the item popping up after releasing R, you’re doing it too slow. It’s faster than you think so don’t try and wait to time it right just try and do it pretty quickly

I personally find it easier specifically in lookout landing not to immediately open the menu and wait more than usual

In my experience its easier if you wait about half a second after jumping off the ledge and then pressing up on the dpad, that seems to make it more consistent for me

I found the dispenser thing useless. U had 40 to start, you did your falling glitch and ended up with 41 instead of 42. Did u not lose 1?

I can say that on June 28th, the first method still works. I'm not too sure about the second but it probably works! Also thank you so much for sharing these duplication glitches!

As of May 24th, 2024, this still works.

Another good spot is west of Hyrule Field Tower, on the shore of Aquame lake. There is a material spot with some wood planks that you can make a platform out of.

It is also due northeast of the nearby coloseum.

Note: this glitcu still works fine as of 07/27/2024 but you don't actually need to have a ledge that's this high off the ground. I've been able to peeform this glitch just fine by hopping off of a Zonai trampoline witu barely any air time

I looked at this other tutorial and it literally aaid that you only had to have one in your inventory and i kept doing it too early and he didnt mention that would happen if it was too early so thanks man figured it out

Good tutorial! It still works to this day (being Jan. 4, 2024).
I saw that you mentioned possible doubt about including that last part about the dispenser, but i found out it works good to store & dupe large zonaite, which is often used in large quantities; therefore needing more than 21.

I like to dupe these items: diamonds, silver lynel saber horns, large zonaite, and hearty truffles; each for a different purpose 😅
